NASA Motion Graphics PSA

I immensely respect motion graphics because there there are so many technical elements involved in each shot in order for the visuals to be properly utilized and run smoothly.

My first motion graphics project involved creating a public service announcement about any topic we desired. Personally, as I’ve always enjoyed the theme of space, I chose NASA. I’m familiar with most Adobe applications, like Illustrator and InDesign, but not After Effects. At first, I felt completely lost when trying to navigate this application. However, I began to familiarize myself with the tools and gradually became comfortable with the basics of motion graphics.
